This program worked closely with over a dozen high schools in Miami-Dade County. The MOS program was awarded various grants from Miami Dade College. These grants were used to fund the student mentors going into the field. Thus, the volunteer program turned into a full-fledged internship for future Music Educators studying at Miami Dade College. Alain had served more than 2000 hours of community service during his time with MOS.

In 2019, Alain decided to take a new educational project under his wing. He formed the Miami Community Brass Choir. This one-of-a-kind ensemble was a conglomerate of professionals, college students, high school students, and even middle school students. Alain envisioned an educational setting where professionals and beginners can sit together and perform music at a high level. This idea quickly turned into reality and since then the MCBC has performed various concerts across South Florida for free. This educational model based off of “Guild” style learning was a success and students went on to achieve accolades from various competitions as well as acceptances into various elite music programs.
